UV coating on prismatic cells
UV paint serves as an effective dielectric protection for cells, offering a dual function of safeguarding against electrical conductivity and environmental degradation. Applied as a thin layer, UV paint forms a barrier that inhibits the formation of electrical pathways while resisting moisture and contaminants. This protective layer not only enhances the longevity and reliability of the battery but also maintains optimal performance by minimizing the risk of short circuits and corrosion. Its quick curing properties under ultraviolet light ensure efficient application and adherence to the prismatic cells, making UV paint a valuable component in ensuring the safety and efficiency of battery systems.
Advantages
- UV Paint recycling in dark booth
- High viscous paint can be applied with Airspray technology
- Even thickness application
In most cases, the automatic guns and rotary bell atomizers are mounted on a fix support or a robot.
The automatic Airspray gun A25 F ensures a fine finishing result & perfect thickness control.
The automatic gun benefits from the Flowmax® technology, which guarantees a very high reliability and possibility to spray critical products UV coatings for instance.
Automatic Airmix® guns such as our AVX are equipped with special seals for UV-coating. They allow a long product lifetime and frequent triggering. In addition, it ensures a high level performance with unsurpassed finish & excellent atomization quality.
The non-electrostatic rotary bell atomizer Nanobell 801 has been designed to meet the need of high finishing applications allowing paint savings at a reduced investment. It combines Airspray and rotary bell technologies to offer all the benefits of rotary bell atomization to non-electro applications at an enhanced production speed with easier set-up and operation. Finest finishing results will be achieved.
Made of stainless steel, the Easy Pump is dedicated to manage the flow of most standard water-based and solvent-based paints. A special 6cc version ensures a flow of 60-500cc/min for UV paint, with low shearing stress inside.
The Magma 500 fluid heater is an optional device used for material preparation and air heating. Our heater range is available up to 500 bar (7250 psi) to supply for heated applications to better control the viscosity of the material.
Our wide range of Flowmax pumps include some versions that are well suited for UV paint applications.
