STRONG WOOD MARKET FUTURE PROSPECTS IN NORTHERN EUROPE

In August and October were held the 2 biggest Wood exhibitions in Northern Europe: Tra&Teknik (Wood products & Technology) for Scandinavian markets and W18-Elements for the UK & Ireland.

We highlighted our main ranges for Wood finishing applications: Airspray, Airmix® and Airless® - which represented 90% of the requests, with their respective new products FPro, Xcite Light, and ASB, but also our exclusive Powder atomizer Inobell.

As far as feeding technologies were concerned we focused on Airspray tanks and WB and Flowmax pumps.

For T&T which took place in Gothenburg late August, we had a common stand together with our exclusive distributors in Sweden/Norway, Coverspray and Scanotech for Denmark.

This exhibition had 223 exhibitors within the wood sector, wood working, integrators, all major material manufacturers and us representing Surface Treatment. Our main competitors Wagner, Graco and ITW were present. The show had about 7000 visitors during 4 days and it gave us a very good result with a hundred qualified leads to deal with after the show.

Specific trend in Scandinavia are automatic Airless® applications for Cladding which represented 10% of the requests on site.

It was also the occasion to collect the testimony of a growing partner in the area: Ceetec (https://www.ceetec.dk/wood-industry), Danish Integrator for painting lines, who has strengthened his collaboration with Sames Kremlin during the last 2 years thanks to the strong partnership with our Distributors in the area and to our reliable and user-friendly equipment.

One month later in Birmingham, SAMES KREMLIN exhibited at the W18 Exhibition & Elements at the NEC. This Exhibition is the national show for the Joinery and Furniture industries, showcasing the latest products and developments, and we have exhibited there for many years with great success. In addition to our new equipment we highlighted UK Best Sellers in the form of the 30C25 Pump Kits, the PU3000 2K machine, the 40C50 High Pressure Pump and our 34F60 Flowmax® Pump. Visitors and requests confirmed the success of our new FPro Airspray spraygun, Airmix leading position and the recognised performance of our PU3000 Plural Mixing System.

The exhibition was very well attended with over 9200 coming through the doors and we would like to thank all those who visited the Stand, which included many of our valued customers.

Even if some of the Northern countries have to fight against countries with low labour costs there are signs showing that production is staying or even return back from abroad due to a high level of technical knowledge and investments to improve production and productivity, and its clearly there that SAMES KREMLIN can make a difference together with our strong partners.  

We look forward to our next exhibition in the area – Scandinavian Coating in March 2019, dedicated to Surface Treatment Industry - and by then to presenting some new innovative products.
