Sponsoring "Water Highway": Supporting Yanez Borella in His Journey for Water Conservation
My name is Yanez Borella. I've traveled extensively and witnessed the beauty of our planet, but I cannot ignore the climate crisis. With support from Muse, the Museum of Natural Sciences of Trento, and Adamello Brenta Park, I'm embarking on a journey from Trento to Pakistan on a special renewable energy bicycle.
This project, titled 'Water Highway,' aims to highlight the condition of Earth's major ice sheets and the impact of climate change on water resources. Over four months and 10,000 kilometers, I'll traverse 10 countries, documenting environmental imbalances and raising awareness about water scarcity.
This journey, also documented in a film by director Guia Zapponi, symbolizes the path of a water droplet from glacier to tap, emphasizing the importance of water conservation.
Follow Yanez!
Through his ambitious project and his determination to raise awareness about the importance of water and environmental conservation, Yanez Borella embodies Sames' core values: respect for nature, sustainability, and concern for environmental impact.
We have chosen to support this expedition not only for its positive impact on ecological awareness but also because it resonates deeply with our company values.
At Sames, we take joy in participating in initiatives that align with our values of human touch, sustainability, environmental protection, and beautifying the world. We are proud to have painted the bike, his most important travel companion, symbolizing our commitment to this journey.
