Grow Sames capital equipment and spare parts to the general industry market through distribution and direct sales.
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide equipment/systems installation services and technical assistance to Sames sales staff and customers.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide service, repairs and estimates onsite or remotely in a timely manner
- Technically support our customers and sales staff onsite, over the phone, or through email
- Assist with and perform installations and training
- Assist with Sames training schools
- Prepare reports as required by the technical manager
- Account management: visiting accounts to ensure our equipment is performing at its highest efficiency
- Provide reactive urgent service
- Catalog & maintain demonstration equipment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Assisting other departments as needed; miscellaneous tasks as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge, preferably through work-related experience
- Mechanical aptitude: ability to master new products and assembly tools
- Able to work safely with hand and power tools; possess good hand and eye coordination
- Able to travel as required (valid driver's license and valid passport)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and write in English (French as asset); good communication and organizational skills
- Outstanding punctuality and organizational skills

FORMAL EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or general education diploma
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing, sitting, bending, facelift (50 lbs.)
- Exposure to solvents, paints, and some hazardous materials
- Working with machines and daily use of hand/power tools
- Wearing personal protective equipment when required
