Job Purpose
Support Sames existing products and services in the designated region and increase the sales of units, replacement parts, and technical service directly with end users (primarily the Automotive/Tier 1 Market) and through development of the Sames channel partner network.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Strategic Growth Manager to implement Sames strategy to capture market share in automotive OEM and tier suppliers in the designated region.
- Maintain and grow existing business.
- Weekly call reports utilizing company CRM.
- Weekly visit(s) with SANA end users and channel partners to identify quotable opportunities to sell SK products (units, replacement parts and technical service) in the designated region.
- Report progress to Strategic Growth Manager regularly through weekly one on one meetings.
- Build relationships with key players and Industry partners in accounts in the designated region.
- Perform miscellaneous other related duties as assigned.
Profile
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience.
- Experience in industrial, automotive, OEM or OEM supplier environment in a technical or technical sales role.
- Understanding of the Automotive/Tier 1 market.
- Proven Success selling to Automotive/Tier 1 market; Capital equipment sales experience in Automotive/Tier 1 market highly preferred.
- Knowledge of fluid supply, dispensing systems.
- Experience and ability interacting with all levels of staff from shop floor to C suite.
- Knowledge of Competitive landscape and Products.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written.
- Ability to multitask with both routine and last-minute tasks.
- Sense of Marketing and Business Development.
- Sense of Urgency in responding to business needs.
Qualifications Include
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, TEAMS (Video call w/ screen sharing of presentations/proposals), Word, PowerPoint, Excel desired.
- High level of emotional intelligence: self-aware, self-motivated, self-control. Holds oneself accountable for actions and results.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; able to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and all levels of staff
- Able to travel throughout the US and abroad; Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must possess good organizational skills.
Formal Education and/or Training Required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent skills/experience in engineering, sales, marketing, or business preferred.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements
- Extensive travel (60-75%); visits to plants/facilities; some time in an office setting. Requires following physical abilities:
- Sitting in car for long periods; air travel. May require occasional travel outside the U.S.
- May require extended walking (through factories, airports, etc.)
- May be exposed to solvents, paints, and some hazardous materials
- Able to pick up and carry products of moderate weight
- May be required to stand for extended periods of time (trade shows, product training, etc.)
