Thermoplastic powder
Thermoplastic powders features superior corrosion resistance (UV, chemical and salt resistance). They are recommended for anti-corrosion applications when a high thickness is required. They are widely used in the offshore, marine, fences, transportation, outdoor furniture markets.
Thermoplastic powders are recommended for application on hot parts (80 %) or cold parts (20 %) with an average thickness of 120/300 microns. Curing process: under the heat effect (180 °/200 °C) during a time period which depends on the proportional inerty of the part, the powder is brought to a liquid status until the complete fusion of all the powder particles. Once the required temperature is reached, the chemical reaction ends and the powder hardens when the temperature decreases
