The 3D HEAD is the best applicator in its class for the application of sound deadening or sealant inside the body or under the body. Its general architecture allows it to access the most difficult to reach areas. It utilizes 3 nozzles with 3 different orientations that rotate using the 6th axis of the robot and allows the programmer unrestricted robotic trajectory. The cycle time reduction is estimated at 30% using a single nozzle applicator. Its 300mm shaft with a maximum diameter of 40mm at the tip allows it to get into every corner of the vehicle body.

Designed with agility in mind, the 3D HEAD is the lightest on the market (3.7 kg in its aluminum version) with a center of gravity as close as possible to the mechanical interface of the gripper. It allows optimizing the load capacity and therefore the robotic investment.

It is also a very versatile product because the 3D HEAD has many options: in aluminium or stainless steel, with or without recirculation, applying one or two different products (1), with or without temperature and pressure sensors, it will adapt to all types of applications and all levels of integration.

In terms of maintenance, this applicator is designed to operate in three shifts without maintenance for one year. There are minimal spare parts which are collected in maintenance kits. The swivel does not have electrical contacts which are the source of failure and all electronic components (sensors and solenoid valves) are easily accessible from the outside.
