Dielectric coating on cell

Let’s talk about your project

Ditch the film — upgrade to high-performance coating

For high performance dielectric performance with low thickness

Description

The typical thickness required for dielectric function on cells is 120 to 150µm, applied in two paths to secure the correct minimal thickness.

To spray the coating on cells, Sames proposes a non-electrostatic rotary bell sprayer : good transfer efficiency and even thickness control.

To print a coating on cells, PRINTEC technology is our latest digital printing Drop On Demand system : avoid complex masking operations by printing only where you need dielectric coating, vertical or horizontal surfaces.

Main benefits

Dielectric coating on cell FAQ

Let's get in touch
  • What is scope of supply for Sames ?

Sames is designing and manufacturing the sprayers and printheads in France. We colaborate with coating line manufacturers to design the right solution to your request.

  • Why spraying or printing the dielectric coating?

The dielectric coating performances depends on the chemical formula.
The printing  technoloy has some limitation on viscosity and size of particles, where the rotary bell sprayer is more versatile, but less efficient.
We propose to test your materials in our application laboratories to validate the correct process to use.
