Improved transfer efficiency

Superior transfer efficiency, with up to 5% extra paint savings

Using paint rheofluidic properties at their best.

"Transfer efficiency", in simple terms, describes the amount of paint which reaches the substrate (the amount which is actually painted) compared to the amount which does not – typically, puffs or clouds of micro-particles of paint which flow away, usually end up on the floor or are pulled in the air filters.

The Airmix® technology : combination of medium-pressure atomization and atomization air - offers the best compromise between the finishing quality and the productivity. Inside the AVX pro spray gun, the "mixers" (Deflector and Diffuser) use the rheofluidic properties of the paint to increase local fluidity. Finer droplets are created, which require less atomization air pressure and flow. This decreases the overspray, improves the transfer rate, allowing more paint to reach the substrate. A few percent improvement can lead to considerable savings, both in paint consumption and in the disposal of contaminated consumables (filters, paper, etc.)

Reduce air consumption

Atomizing air consumption decrease by up to 50%, thanks to the reduction in pressure.

Reduce paint consumption

Total paint consumption reduced by up to 5%

Reduce waste

Filled air filters discard and processing to reduce by several tons a year
