JOB PURPOSE: In-house entry-level production of product assemblies and stocked items

In-house entry-level production of product assemblies and stocked items

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform low complexity product assemblies according to engineered drawings to specifications
Test products for quality assurance for both product assemblies and factory items
Monitor functionality of all equipment and report problems or substandard conditions to supervisor
Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating
Produce stocked items in a required timely manner
Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different workstations
Package and/or label required items along with daily use of hand tools
Work with quality and engineering departments on product discrepancies
Track job hours through ADP
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Daily use of hand tools & miscellaneous tasks as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic SAMES product knowledge preferred
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to read and comprehend schematic engineered drawings and blueprints
Ability to leanr and master new assembly skills
Possess good hand and eye coordination
Manual dexterity, physical strength, and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Ability to multitask and follow detailed instructions

Formal Education and/or Training Required:

High school diploma or general education diploma

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Standing, sitting, bending, lifting (50 lbs.)
Repetitive tasks for long hours
Exposure to solvents, paints, and some hazardous materials
Working with machines and hand/power tools
Wearing personal protective equipment when required

The Mechanical Systems Engineer will work on mechanical panels, spray application and dispensing mechanisms, power/motor controls, and fluid controls as required. This position will work with customers and suppliers to develop time and cost-effective solutions and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards. This position will be part of a project team, working with a Project Manager and Technical Manager in a matrix reporting structure.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide mechanical hardware engineering leadership and design in the office and at customer facilities for assigned projects.
Communicate with the project manager and direct manager concerning progress or problems of all mechanical hardware.
Calculate pneumatic, fluid pressure drop and flow rates.
Design, fluid and pneumatic control schematics.
Assist in the development and validation of new features and improvement of current products.
Specify, order, and follow up on delivery of mechanical equipment.
Analyze reports of technical problems, identify root cause, and determine if a change in design strategy is required.
Provide technical clarification and guidance for customers, vendors, and suppliers.
Provide clear, complete, accurate drawings and documentation within prescribed deadlines.
Maintains high ethical standards of conduct for all engineering activities.
Requires 15% travel, domestically and internationally.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis, resourcefulness.
Strong electro-mechanical skills: ability to read and develop schematics and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of design for hazardous locations (Class 1, Div. 1).
Experience with common mechanical codes applicable to automation systems.
Experienced in AutoCAD and SolidWorks programs.
Appreciates the need for timely and accurate documentation.
Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently in a demanding environment.
Self-starter. Able to work well independently or as a project team leader.
Positive attitude; committed to delivery of tasks.
Knowledge of robotic paint application equipment and processes (FANUC, ABB, Kawasaki).
Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment; measurement tools and techniques.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience with Quality Systems ISO 9001:2015.
Knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards.
Knowledge of industrial automation.
Experienced with GD&T Practices.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering design environment.
Must demonstrate an eagerness to learn.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of paint process and knowledge of products relating to electrostatic painting equipment and robotic systems.
Experience with Fanuc Robotics – Preferred.
Experience or knowledge of PLC's and industrial control logic – Preferred.
Provide Design Portfolio – Highly Recommended.

Formal Education Required

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology.
Will consider equivalent experience and vocational school.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements

The job requires a person to work in an office setting and at some customer sites. May need to walk a long distance at customer sites. Ability to lift 10 lbs.

Die Aufgaben

• Gemeinsam mit dem Head of Finance und dem Controlling erstellen Sie die Monats- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB.
• Im Tagesgeschäft bearbeiten Sie sämtliche Geschäftsvorfälle der Kreditoren-, Debitoren-, Bank-, Kassen-, Anlagen- und Sachbuchhaltung.

Ihre Erfahrungen

•   Wir suchen eine/n ausgebildete/n Bilanzbuchhalter/in mit langjähriger Berufserfahrung, vorzugsweise im Rechnungswesen eines internationalen Industrieunternehmens.
•    Auch wenn wir zu einem internationalen Konzern mit Mutter in Frankreich gehören, sind unsere Prozesse mittelständisch geprägt. Daher ist uns eine pragmatische, hands-on-Mentalität wichtig.
•    Wir haben DATEV und SAP Business One im Einsatz. Kenntnisse mit beiden System wären ein Plus, ebenso die Erfahrung in der Umstellung auf ein neues ERP-System (IFS).
